Yard Tap

Irrigation system still froze solid and the wind howling from the east.Plants drying out and only so much can be done with a watering can so this morning I moved the hose reel in to the greenhouse to thaw out and Helen used the hair dryer to thaw out the outside tap.After an hour or so we were ready to go.Between us it has taken over two hours just to give the plug trays in the prop house a good water a job that usually takes twenty minutes.
Mothers Day planters have started and transplanting perennials has continued.
Left the screens over the seedlings all day for the first time ever because it is so cold with the gale force wind that the heaters are struggling to keep up.
