beast from the east day 6....

the thaw begins!! Rejoice!!!  Nice to see some flowers finally emerging from their snowy blankets!

Ventured to the shops again this morning through the slushy snow - one supermarket still had empty shelves where the bread should have been! Happily we use the bakers who had plenty of supplies!

Helping dad now with a bit of snow clearing on the driveway although I doubt he'll  be taking his car out anywhere until every last flake of snow has melted!
