Stuck in the Snow

This is our "main road". We walked down to see if it was passable and found these three cars buried, plus another one stuck in a snowbank (extra). I was told that some people had spent the night in their car - which is silly since it is only a few hundred feet to walk to the nearest house.  As we left, a digger came along and started to remove the snow, and a police car arrived too.  But it will be many hours of work.
