Full of water

The acequias are the small irrigation canals  - ditches - that the Arabs used in the Vega de Granada to water their crops of vegetables and fruit. This old system of distributing water in the different fields has been used in la Vega for centuries and it is still possible to see some of these acequias in the fields.

It is great to see the acequias with water.  Perhaps the drought we have been suffering in the last months has come to an end.
