The thaw is coming

It started today, the grey/black slush on the road, the crunchy snow has a dampness underneath and this evening it was alternating between snow, drizzle and sleet.
Temperature is still forecast to be minus at night but daytime temperatures going up to 3 - 6 degrees during the next few days.
