Children's Day

is held in New Zealand on the first weekend in March and there are events held locally during the weekend.  Today's activities were in the Forest and I have to say I was very impressed.  So many events for children to try, some clean and some no so.  The best part was it was completely free and nobody was trying to sell anything, apples were free.  Some of the painting in the main blip, 1st extra is a little girl completely engrossed in making a hut (they could use anything from the forest floor but nothing else) 2nd future drummers?, 3rd extra fascinated by centipedes, 4th boys will be boys
