Hope of Spring

Truly back into the cold weather and it takes some getting used to after the Indian heat! 
However, fully kitted out and looking rather like the michelin man I headed off to Sunday Lunch at a local garden centre with friends today. A delicious roast of beef, pork or turkey with all the trimmings - so different to the yummy spicy India food but very pleasant, just different.
Wandered around the centre after lunch and saw swathes of colour - all the polyanthus etc are in full bloom and looking wonderful.
Spring, it would seem, is on its way - I certainly hope so anyway as this cold  is numbing.
