He Always Blips Those Part 800

It was Monday and as I watched both of my busses drive off as I schnelled my way to the bus stop, I thought I needed a little break from that sort of annoyance.

And so I found myself at Schierstein Hafen and had the luck to find these 2 at home.  It took a fair bit of waiting to get this Blip of the two of them vaguely looking in my direction - they are quite adept at quickly looking the other way.  The extra is just a crop of this so you can see the result of a bit of grooming, and a lot more nest detail.

Schierstein was quite busy - it usually is when the sun shines - every bench was occupied with people eating ice-cream.  This is another one of those signs that Spring is on its way.  Although people eating ice-cream has never made it on to the He-Always-Blips-That list and probably never will.

  Oh and it was warm enough down at the Hafen not to have to wear my hat/scarf/gloves and have my jacket open.  That's a good end to the rotten part of the day.  I shall leave you to contemplate this pretty blue sky and these very pretty birds.
