Vicious

This morning my Blip hero and I met for our bi-monthly tea/coffee and  exchange of news. Both of us have noticed the absence of Monarch butterflies and increased number of paper wasps in our gardens. Paper wasps feed on live prey e.g. Monarch caterpillars and are pests. Later in the day and quite by chance I saw a paper wasps' nest on a power pole by our road and rushed home to get the fly spray. When I sprayed the nest dozens of wasps flew out and fell to the ground except for one which landed on my leg. A paper wasp sting is painful.
