The Holt Lowes

Apologies for lack of comments recently, migraines again.  I will catch-up shortly.

Holt Lowes is the name of the heathland area adjoined to Holt Country Park, this pretty area is full of meandering paths, many still to be explored.  Now that (most) of the snow has gone, A and I went for a walk here.  We are able to walk from home, through town and onto the country park, so handy when you want to leave the car at home, and even handier if you fancy any shopping (or coffee) in the town on the way back home.
Many of the gorse bushes are in flower and have been since December, the next bust of colour will be the heather so well worth another walk there when that is blooming.  Good for fungi in the autumn too.
It was good to get out after being stuck indoors with migraines and/or snow for many days.

The extra was taken at at U3A Photo Group where we were trying out in-camera editing, this was taken using the fish eye function.  It was a useful session to learn more about the camera and good fun too.

Sorry you couldn't come to either the walk or the photo group B...we missed you!  Hope your cold is better soon.
