Some Days

The Family Euph on a Train

We arrive at the Playa Pesquero resort to discover that it is the second largest hotel in the whole of Cuba, with 984 rooms, in blocks of six and eight spread over a large compound.

The area used to be a sugar processing factory and shipping centre, with lots of rusting railway and industrial artefacts artfully arranged about the place.

We were taken to our rooms on this little road train.

From left, Euphemama (my Mum), Euphemia, and Euphling, all looking a bit frazzled after the ten hour flight!
