Ye Maydes

This Grade I listed building is thought to have been the workshop of weavers during the Middle Ages; the upper floor was originally one large workroom. Now part of it is Ye Maydes restaurant. Part of the same building is the Tate Door (in the Extras bin) which has a carved head above the lintel. This is believed to have come from a ship from the Spanish Armada.
