My newly retired sweetie has become a delicious pie expert. This new recipe (& way to make pie without a pie plate) has finely grated citrus peel in it and is beyond amazing. The flakiest crust i have ever tasted, as well as being the most flavourful. The pie filling is 3 types of cooked apples. Thank you to to vegan chef with Caribbean flair Taymer Mason for teaching this to us in cooking class. I recommend following on instagram if you belong. We cant wait to branch out and try other fillings. We had our lovely and favorite neighbours over and timed it with the pie coming out of the oven - they were very pleased, especially paired with vanilla ice cream. Another busy day at work, time is flying by, more work than hours in the day.
