MLK Day?

Denison is special and celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day a week later than everyone else. We have no classes, so Jimmy and I decided to go hear this speaker, Dr. Bernice Johnson Reagon, speak about her experiences in the civil rights movement through both speech and song. A gospel-type singing group, Tehillah, also performed, and did really well.

There's something about a gospel choir that sets it apart from everything else. The voices make it sound like there are hundreds of people singing, even though today there were only 10 or so. Amazing.

Anyway, I'm glad I finally blipped something on time. I backblipped quite a bit, so feel free to scroll through.
