Toadstools

I went for a walk up through the Brownlee Reserve at the top of Clifton Hill this evening. These toadstools were spread out under the trees, like a woodland. So lovely.

I was taken aback by all the houses that have been demolished up there though. I hadn’t seen them gone before. I wonder where their inhabitants have gone and how their lives are now. I’ve found readjusting to living back in my house harder than I expected; harder even than being out of the house. Somehow life in the caravan, in particular, was simpler and less stressful. Maybe I’m a woodland dweller!

I’m rambling! Happy Wednesday everyone.
