stone and spoon race.....

kids had great fun today doing a stone and spoon race - it was really hot outside (as a thunderstorm was on the way) and yet this small boy would not take off his sweater!   It takes a lot of concentration to do this and the kids did really well!

Tomorrow is International Women's day - a public holiday in Zambia.  Monday is Youth Day, another public holiday in Zambia.  So the President declared yesterday that Friday would also be a public holiday so now we are off until Tuesday!  There are just too many interruptions to the school year in Zambia!!
