Maria chapel

During the last days of the Second World War, the "de Vleut" neighborhood was fiercely fought.
The local residents went through fearful hours and promised to build a chapel after the war if they were spared.
In 1950 the chapel was established in collaboration with the Catholic Action and architect K. Offers.
In that year, the pope also declared Mary to heaven be a dogma .
Prayer services are held here in case of illness and death of local residents.
