Dunfermline Abbey

We’d never really been to Dunfermline to actually look around; we’ve friends who live there and we visit quite often. It’s a really historic place; it was capital of Scotland before Edinburgh, and the burial place of Robert the Bruce (except for the heart which is at Melrose Abbey). It was a brighter day than recently, and we went for a wander in Pittencrieff Park and then the glen within the park where the blip of Dunfermline Abbey was taken. The abbey was worth a visit as was Andrew Carnegie’s birthplace.
Yesterday’s blip.
