The awareness of impermanence

Topic this week with AYWMC grads is the Japanese concept equating to the awareness of impermanence - mono no aware. I'm not sure if it's not a bit "deep" for my liking but in the spirit of these things I've had a go. We don't need to use flowers, but I have, in fact we can interpret the subject however we see it.
In some ways I interpret the whole subject of photography in this way, as you are often taking a "just at this moment" picture which records thoughts, views, events, milestones etc and will remind you in years to come...
Anyway, this is more than just a dying crocus, it's an artistically arranged fleeting moment in time. Kept me out of mischief this afternoon too!
