The Tostón Lighthouse

We dropped our friends off at the ferry terminal, Corralejo (Fuerteventura) as they're staying the next three weeks in Lanzarote whilst we stay one night in a hotel before travelling home.

We drove to Cotillo for a walk around this pleasant town enjoying a cuppa in the harbourside cafe, and afterwards spending a couple of hours on the beach near the lighthouse (see blipfoto)

The Tostón Lighthouse or El Cotillo Lighthouse is an active lighthouse on the Canary island of Fuerteventura. The lighthouse is situated on the north-western coast of the island near to the village of El Cotillo, in the municipality of La Oliva.
