Thirsty

Apparently eating peanuts and sunflower seeds is thirsty work. Also had a pair of thrushes, a very large female great spotted woodpecker and long tailed little rattimus (as opposed to kink tailed rattimus) in addition to the usual array of tits, robins, blackbirds and chaffinches.

But the best visitor was Lauren, who is home for the Easter holidays a week early owing to the university lecturers striking. Obviously I cooked one of her favourites: chicken & ham pie, and made a belated birthday simnal cake.

Chasing my tail today. Too much to do before I go away. It’s just not going to get done. Feeling bad about that.
