It's been dark all day ....

.... and this Gravestone in Pentcaitland Churchyard,
in the mist,
was broken
and fixed with two iron bands
sometime in the last few hundred years ....

Some things. You just don't know
why they matter so much.

But they do.

Maybe especially on dark days,
in the mist ....
