Sneaky

She's faster in large.

I had the chance to sneak up on a couple of common merganser females today.  I knew they would take off in flight as soon as I rounded to the other side of a large snow mound... So I was prepared with the right settings and ready for the movement.    I'm usually too late to get the shot; or if I manage to capture a bird in flight then my settings are all wrong.  

So, being sneaky today paid off. ;-)
