Flower-like

Not really flowers for Flower Friday, but I think these leaves resemble flowers and I love their color and shape, and how abundantly they grow at Carkeek.

Today I started trying to deal with my anxiety about the trip by shopping for some new clothes.  My current wardrobe is too casual (and too old) for the reunion.  I had a bit of success, thanks to the support of Endless Weekend, who trudged with me from display to display.  I have always hated clothes shopping, even as a child - I think I may have mentioned before that I drove my mother mad because, as soon as we walked into a clothing store, I began yawning involuntarily.  Having my sister with me this time kept me focused.
