Sunsetting is not just for lawyers...

I have  heard the word "sunset" often  over the last week, but almost exclusively applied to a "measure within a statute, regulation or other law that provides that the law shall cease to have effect after a specific date, unless further legislative action is taken to extend the law."

It has been that type of week.

However in the real world there are real and wonderful sunsets and this was one over Loch Fyne this evening , seen on my way home after a busy day of constituency business in Oban.
