Raindrops keep falling

We enjoyed a visit to a whiskey distillery this morning..... what else to do when it’s raining? Discovered I don’t like really smokey whiskey.

Picture shows crowds with umbrellas clustered around the statue of David Hume, a Scottish philosopher. (born May 7 [April 26, Old Style], 1711, Edinburgh, Scotland—died August 25, 1776, Edinburgh), Scottish philosopher, historian, economist, and essayist known especially for his philosophical empiricism and skepticism. Hume conceived of philosophy as the inductive, experimental science of human nature. I learnt a lot about Hume, Hobbes and Locke when doing my OU degree, most of which I’ve now forgotten!

It’s to be found on the Royal Mile, not far from St Giles Cathedral.
