Any working day that starts and finishes with walking through Inverleith Park in the sunshine can't be all bad.

The dazzling weather seemed to have put a spring in the step of the joggers and dogwalkers. In fact, the sap was rising everywhere: at work, Molly kept receiving the attentions of an amorous, but ultimately frustrated, cocker spaniel. He seemed to have a thing about licking her ear...most unpleasant.

All this, and getting that Friday feeling a day early!
