In front of the camera for a change today, with a work colleague and others for a presentation of a 'Cycle Friendly Employer' award.

We're still waiting on our cycle lockers, still not confident about the security around the bike sheds here (but it's better than it was), there's no 'drying room' or anything to help out with us drookit bikers on the wetter days and they've just reorganised the car parking to help out with the issues of not enough space for cars, but I'm sure they wholeheartedly deserve the award.

Was allowed a wee shot on this classic old Raleigh today and about came off at the first attempt to turn it around. A bit heavy on the steering these 50 year old bikes are, but it's used regularly enough to stop the green mould and rust from seizing up the drive mechanism and the fixed lever brakes. Loved the fact that the basket on the front is slowly filling up with autumn leaves that have dropped in there as it pootles along.

Pretty sure that 50 years from now the bike I'm using just now will have long been recycled into something else. Don't make them like that anymore.
