Croci

Looking back to this time last year, Spring is later here. There were no daffodils out at Temple Newsam, but the croci were out in as much glory as they could muster. They have suffered from the recent snow though, any stalks were in the ground, and the petals were often damaged or grubby, which made the close up shots a bit of a struggle.  There were a few folk up on the Estate, a women's football team getting ready to play, walkers and cyclists, its a popular area as the grounds are free to walk around.
