Mothering Sunday

It being a special day I am cooking a special dinner; lobsters followed by Teriyaki Chicken. These are the rare, one-clawed variety of lobster, which is probably why we got a dozen of them for free!

The "extra" is another lucky dip into the yellow Kodachrome boxes. Forty years ago I accompanied a group of undergraduate zoologists to Mole National Park in Northern Ghana. Today's scanned 35 mm slide shows a group of girls selling tomatoes in the market at Kumasi. The photograph was taken using a Leica 3B manufactured in the 1930s.
