Building Change

I have been looking at the Japanese concept of 'Mono no aware'.  The transience of life, the sadness of passing.

" ....the fragility and inherent brevity of an instance of awe, such as the blooming of the cherry blossoms, only aids in heightening the event’s stunning, albeit melancholic nature."

Here the flame bursts from the match and then it's beauty passes, leaving a change in its nature.  The next match similarly.  I have admired the flames and built this 'Change' from the remains.

More here.

This is also for Mono Monday - building.   Many thanks to  Nickimags888 for hosting MonoMonday this month...
