Dream state

I had 30 minutes to get out of my car at the park today. It had rained but it was warm. As I stood on a peninsula overlooking a nature preserve, I heard noises all around me. I smiled because everywhere I looked there was movement but not a soul in sight...just me. I saw a red-bellied woodpecker, bluejay, titmouse, chickadee, chipmunk, swans, ducks, muskrat and some fish. I breathed in the fresh air and heard a swan start flapping his wings. I glanced up just in time to see him fly by.

After a long day at work, my soul feels nourished!
