What do points make?

There was a tribute to Sir Bruce on TV this weekend; which would have been lovely but then you remember that the last time the BBC had a really big send off for someone it was Jimmy Saville.

Still, the points that mattered today were the 3 that my team got for beating one of their rivals fighting against relegation to the Championship, which was a rare treat.

That and our local rivals doing yet more to take our mind off our troubles by plumbing new depths of incompetence in the diddly league they ‘play’ in.
