Our Old Clock

Today, we collected our old onyx marble French mantel clock from the Clock Repairer in Sowerby Bridge where it has just been serviced and cleaned.   It  belonged to my Great Aunt Beatrice and was a wedding present to her. She died over 50 years ago in her early nineties and left this much beloved clock to me.   I'm so glad she did.   We love it dearly as it has lots of fond memories.    So nice to have it back,  quietly ticking and chiming away.
