Lacy Trees, Thorncombe Woods

I'm feeling really virtuous tonight as I managed yoga this morning and my Bird Walk this afternoon. We last visited these woods near Hardy's Cottage in the Autumn; today we were treated to a noisy mistle thrush (stormcock as it is known because of its ability to sing in dull, rainy weather)- we can now identify the difference between a blackbird and a mistle thrush - the latter has little breaks between each set of notes and sings louder!!
