April Fool

Unlike The Joker in 2017 talking about building walls, this was not a bad joke. Most of the story to this photo is told here.

This is the view from the "observation" platform for visitors so as to be able to see over the Berlin Wall and through the pillars in the Brandenburg Gate, catch a little glimps of East Germany.

Very oppressive atmosphere everywhere although no physical events happening. It was a very quiet weekend with just a few tourists like myself.
