Glasgow Cityscape

This view was taken from the Mackintosh Tower of “The Lighthouse” converted from the former offices of the Glasgow Herald newspaper that we visited this morning.

We then returned to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery for lunch before we listened to part of the 1 pm organ recital - as well as listening to the music we were able to watch the actions of the organist’s feet on one large screen and his hands on another.

Then it was time to catch the train back home from this very friendly city where we found so many people keen to chat and be helpful. There is no doubt in the truth of the many signs throughout the city and on the side of buildings “ People make Glasgow “.
