According to the Oregonian newspaper, apartments permitted in the last three years totaled 13,659, and that's meant hard-hatted workers, cranes, and construction vehicles are ubiquitous in Portland these days. Not to mention the new residents arriving from all over the U.S.A. It's an interesting change.
