Great tit

I went for a run along a railway path, only to find that some of it was still covered in snow.  There are still fairly large snowbanks at the sides of the country roads, too.  But it feels more like Spring. Someone maintains bird feeders in the tree at the carpark.

I photographed this bird, then in the evening came second in an internal club competition with another bird - a lilac breasted roller (extra).  Photographing wildlife is definitely one thing that 'makes me tick'.
