It's only a couple of weeks since everywhere around here was covered in snow as the "Beast from the East" struck Central Scotland, and more cold weather is forecast for this coming weekend (although it's not meant to be as bad as last time) yet there are plenty of bright splashes of colour to be seen. Spring is on its way!

This highly colourful collection of crocuses (or croci if you prefer) forms one of the roadside boundaries of Thistle Park in St Ninian's, Stirling. I've added an extra from the same collection.
