Time to stand beneath the boughs

.Rydw i'n mor hapus i fod yn gallu 'sefyll a syllu' yn stopio ar hap ar fy ffordd i'r gwaith.  Heddiw oedd mewn darn bach o goetir ger y llwybr seiclo.  Rydw i'n ffeindio'r coed yn ddiddiwedd diddorol a gallwn i dreulio llawer mwy o amser ymhlith nhw.

I'm so happy to be able to 'stand and stare' stoping randomly on my way to work. Today it was in a small piece of woodland near the cycle path. I find the trees endlessly interesting and I could spend a lot more time among them.

__________

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
