The dropped stitch

Tingwall Airport

The day started with a breakfast visit from J.

She was dropping off some compost bins to a friend before work, and brought along some rug hooks for Vanessa to try. Having recently completed a tapestry, V is moving now into rug-making-mode. I am eagerly waiting to see the results, but must NOT get drawn into another craft. Too too many unfinished projects as it is!

Really enjoyed the first full day working in Shetland. Saw a few friends along the way and managed to clock up quite a good number of meters.

Stops included the tiny Tingwall airport. A plane had just come in, so there was quite a hussle and bustle going on for 10 minutes or so. From here you can fly to  Fairisle, Foula, Papa Stour and the Out Skerries.

I came home to find tea nearly on the table and a giant mug of tea just poured! Perfect!
