Piping for Africa

Louise Johnstone tries out a recorder- bought in our local charity shop - now destined for another charity, a school in Africa.
A former lecturer in art at Duncan of Jordanstone, Louise is one of a small group of people in central Scotland running Ruda, a charity in Tanzania, providing nursery and primary education for 190 children.
I met up with her this afternoon in order to hand over an old laptop, and some paintings for one of her many fund raising events.
For Louise will be leaving for Africa in June to run workshops in the school, something she does every year along with other members of the charity.
