A Night at the Opera

Highlight of the day was a trip to Nottingham in the evening to see Don Giovanni performed by Opera North. A strange mixture of tragedy and comedy.

The music and singing was sublime.

This is a double exposure of the Theatre Royal overlain with an image of Madama Butterfly, one of the trio of operas being performed this week. I shall miss it as it's on tonight. I get too tired to do the trip two days in a row.
