When Passports cost 6d (2.5p)

This is the inside cover of a British passport dating from the 1930s.  Each one was approved and signed by Lord Halifax and appears to have cost 6d, that is 2.5 pence for those of you not old enough to remember shillings and pence.  The passport was valid for the whole of Europe except Spain
