Round the world in 80 birds!!

That was the title of the talk at U3A this morning, very interesting and a lovely reminder of some of the countries that we have visited. Not that we recognised many of the birds.

We haven’t been for ages, but there was a group leaders meeting at the end so we made the effort. B had to stay for it, as he runs the maths group!!!

Another very wet day.....it just poured down.

Trip to the vets to collect the 3monthly worming tablet. Amber was weighed and is 24kgs!!!! She saw the vet as she managed to get a bit of twig stuck in her paw last week. We got it out at the time but not sure if there is anything left behind. She wasn’t too impressed with his poking about, but made friends with him at the end of the examination. She gazed adoringly into his eyes :0))

I’ve been doing some work on the quilt top for the budding astronaut!!!

I shouldn’t complain about the weather today ....the temperatures are going to drop over the next day or two and we have snow forecast!!!!! Hope it misses us as I’m doing something interesting on Saturday in a venue down a narrow winding road :0(((
