Through the arch window

This house was built before TV and any influence of children’s programmes.

We left my brother’s house at 8am and had a good run to Lancaster where we dropped our daughter back at her home ahead of a work meeting. We collected the dog which was being looked after ( ie pampered) there by her fiancée.

Our son and I took the dog for a walk and he pointed out this house as having every window in a different style. At first we noticed only one facade but looking round the corner saw that every window was different.

Further good run back to Edinburgh. Traffic flowed well again which made the 875 miles I drove over a 50 hour period almost bearable.

Early night before catching up on work and more travel, this time by train, to Glasgow.
