The Venerable Lama

A bizarre runaround of a day at work, including snapping a Buddhist Lama... Well you never know what you're going to be doing in this job for sure.
I didn't have the chance to chat with him, nicknamed the Good Luck Lama apparently, so I'll have to take my chances on the lottery with everyone else.

"The Venerable Lama Yeshe Rinpoche is the Abbot of Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery and Tibetan Buddhist Centre in Scotland, and he is Chairman of the Rokpa Trust Charity. He is also the executive director of the world famous Holy Isle project and a leading light in interfaith dialogue. He is the executive director of our project here in Scarborough. He is one of the worlds greatest meditation masters, having completed 12 years in solitary retreat and accomplished three 49 day dark retreats, and he has totally mastered his mind and is an amazingly inspiring person to meet. He is a visiting dignitary to Scarborough, and as this will be his first visit."
