FlowerFriday 16_2018: Cross Vine

A native to our area, Cross Vine has a habit of growing way up in tall pine and oak trees. This aggressive grower is a favorite with both bees and hummingbirds. The sunlight was striking this patch of the plant's bright, 'in-your-face' orange flowers, catching my eye! Always a good idea to glance upward occasionally!
