Cherry tree flowers

In between showers, I decided to take a chance and go to see some cherry trees near my house. They are in a recreational ground and are absolutely loaded with flowers. I took no end of pictures, but I liked this one best, as it shows how many blossoms there are. Weather forecast is for low temperatures and snow again next week. I hope the flowers will survive the frost.
While under the tree, I suddenly realise that some of the petals, gently shaken by the breeze which was blowing inland some new laden rain clouds, had already started falling, silently, on the ground.
